This role will be responsible for supporting the development of new products 

by designing, developing, and testing electronic user interface and capacitive sensing products.

In this role you will interact regularly with Manufacturing, Production, Process Engineers and other groups to ensure the highest s tandards of efficiency and quality are being reached. This position will reside in our Naperville, IL location.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design electrical schematics, primarily microprocessor based circuits for user interface and capacitive sensing products 2. 

Layout 2-layer and 4-layer printed circuit boards, flexible polyimide circuits, and silver printed polyester circuits 3.

Write and debug embedded software in C language 4. Document product requirements based on customer input, including functionality, electrical ratings, and agency requirements 5.

Estimate development timelines based on product requirements and project workload 6. Work with team members and external customers to appropriately communicate project status, design risks, and estimated completion dates 7.

Meet commitments made to internal and external customers 8. Analyze electrical circuits for worst-case conditions and modify designs to address issues 9. Coordinate with mechanical engineering on product dimensions 10. Conduct Design Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (DFMEAs) 11. Participate in design reviews, including evaluation of manufacturability 12. Create bills of material for electronic circuits 13.

Collaborate with technicians and production personnel to ensure proper fabrication of prototypes 14. Conduct functional tests on prototypes and coordinate environmental testing 15. Support design modifications for products in production 16. Research new technologies for internal development and potential acquisition 17. Follow Molex guiding principles and operating procedures at all times, and suggest process improvements with a focus on creating value for the company EDUCATION: REQUIRED: B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering PREFERRED: M.S Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering WORK EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: Minimum of 5 years electrical engineering experience including the following Designing microprocessor-based schematics for products that include user interfaces Capacitive sensing PCB layout Electrical lab equipment such as meters, oscilloscopes, and communication protocol analyzers PREFERRED: Expertise with Altium schematic capture and circuit layout tools Embedded software development experience Designs with capacitive touch screens and embedded Android or Linux computer systems Experience with electrical and software design for wireless communication SKILLS & ABILITIES: REQUIRED: Working knowledge of EMC/EMI tests and compliance Strong ability to analyze issues and create sound solutions Good verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely Strong trouble shooting and analytical skills Ability to apply logical reasoning Project management skills that demonstrate the ability to set goals and priorities in order to complete projects in a systematic and timely manner Good interpersonal skills to work effectively in teams Occasional travel

I'm applying for a part of electronic circuit design & programming.

I think LEGO company is the best company to me.

I heard that NXT is the newest product in LEGO.

it requires me to have more knowledge of electronics and also of external design

I judge Korean kids are playing lot more with toys than adults do.

So toy market is concentrated on kid's society.


What would your co-workers say about you and your work performance ?

In common case, volunteers often choose going to either electronics or design.

But I chose to put my foot on Electronics as my major,

i learned design computer-based on the outside of the school as my habby.

I didn't expect learning design to be used here

i'd like to play a role

in reducing problems what might come out between Engineering Department & Design Department.

when they put their creative ideas on the desk to discuss together.

If I do put forth creative ideas,

naturally I will have a good reputation with my co-wokers.

I just look for a boss who enjoy their job.

My co-workers often inform me that

whether some growing companies are or not.

They just chase up the companies just for the money.

This mind very easily breaks down their strong intention

to go along with co-workers even on a tough way.

who are willing to directly drive their plans

not to hasitate & think doing before doing something.
